Facial Hair Transplant

What is a Facial Hair Transplant?

As hair transplantation continues to develop, facial hair transplantation has become a more popular way for you to grow facial hair in places you couldn’t before. The art of facial hair transplantation has been made possible for eyebrows, beards and moustaches.

We know that beards and moustaches are key factors of a masculine appearance, playing a significant role in men’s self-esteem. Sparse beards can result from a variety of genetic and environmental factors and as a result, this can cause feelings of psychological distress and discomfort. To combat this, we offer a professional beard transplant procedure.

Procedure of Beard Hair Transplant

Beard transplants are carried out according to the FUE hair transplantation method. Follicles are removed from various parts of the body, including the back of the neck. Roughly, around 3000 follicles are needed for a full beard transplant. Whereas, between 400 and 800 are required for a moustache transplant.

Procedure of Eyebrow Transplant

Our eyebrow transplantation is carried out under anaesthetic according to the FUE method. Typically, follicles are taken out from the donor area (the back of the neck or other areas of the body) and those grafts are then transplanted into the eyebrows using specialised tools.

Where the skin begins to heal a week post surgery a crust will form around the transplanted follicles. At this time, the follicles will fall off. Normal follicle growth will begin roughly 3 months following the transplant.

Procedure of Moustache Transplant

Our moustache procedure is carried out under anaesthetic according to the FUE method. Typically, follicles are taken out from the donor area (the back of the neck or other areas of the body). Those grafts are then transplanted onto the upper lip area.
