Longing for a tighter smoother face?
It is common for the skin to lose elasticity due to ageing. Thus resulting in sagging, skin folds and wrinkles.
Though facelift surgery won’t stop you from ageing, it is a great way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the face and neck while also removing any excess fat in the jowl area. Our facelift procedures are designed to lift the cheekbones. When combined with our other aesthetic procedures, it can help you look younger and leave your face feeling refreshed.
Benefits of Facelift Surgery:
Reduces wrinkles and skin folds (You’ll look younger)
Boost confidence and self-esteem (You’ll feel fab)
How is facelift surgery administered?
This procedure is performed under general anaesthetic in our fully equipped operating rooms and usually takes two and a half hours to complete. Incisions will be made in the scalp from above the ears to behind the ears, the skin will be peeled back, and the muscles that cause sagging will be lifted using special stitches. Any excess skin will be removed from the temporal region, and the cheeks and chin will be tightened. If this is the only treatment you are receiving, you will be discharged on the same day.
What happens before facelift surgery?
Before your surgery, you will have a consultation with your doctor where you will be able to discuss the process, as well as your expectations to ensure your understanding of the surgery and its possible results.
What happens after facelift surgery?
Following the surgery, some bruising, swelling, and tightness can occur. Any dressing and bandages will be removed after two days, while stitches are generally removed between five and seven days after surgery. Once the bandages and stitches have been removed, you will be cleared to return to your usual routine. However, we recommend avoiding heavy exercise and eternal blows. Additionally, male patients should avoid shaving for two to three weeks following the procedure.
