Frequently Asked Questions (Our FAQs)

Vaginoplasty (What is it?)

A vaginoplasty is a procedure for women of all ages who are want to rejuvenate their vagina. Typically women who have this surgery are sexually active women, mothers (after childbirth) or those experiencing natural ageing.

Muscles of the vagina wall can lose elasticity and causing them to start sagging. Many women want a procedure to tighten up the vagina and vaginoplasty surgery does just that.

How long does it take to heal after a vaginoplasty?

After leaving the hospital, patients are advised to take any painkillers and antibiotics as prescribed. You will be free to shower 24 hours after the surgery, and you will be free to return to your daily routine the following day. However, we recommend avoiding physical exercise for at least one week. Any stitches will dissolve in two or three weeks, after which you will be able to resume sexual activity.

What is pubic lift surgery?

Ageing can cause the pubis to sag and lose elasticity over time, also it causes the build-up of stubborn fatty deposits. With that said, pubic lift surgery offers the ideal solution to help you restore volume to your pubis.

How is it administered?  The procedure involves removing the excess skin before using special strings to lift the area, creating a natural appearance. This treatment is administered under local anaesthetic and tends to leave a slight scar similar to a cesarean section scar.

After pubic lift surgery, you will be free to carry on with your regular daily routine 2 days after the surgery.

What is a labiaplasty?

Changes in body weight, as well as ageing, can cause the labia minora and labia majora to sag and lose volume over time, which can result in health and aesthetic concerns. Labiaplasty can be carried out to fix these problems.

How is labiaplasty surgery carried out?

Fat is gathered from other areas of the body and is injected into the labia majora to help restore volume.

This procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and requires no stitches upon completion.

If too much fat is injected and the labia are loose or sagging, their volume can be reduced with minor liposuction.

Patients are free to resume any sexual activities within just 1 week of surgery.

What is labia minora reduction and how it is it performed?

Labia minora reduction is used to reduce the natural sagging of the inner labia that can occur as part of the natural ageing process.

The surgery is performed under local anaesthesia and usually takes 30 minutes to complete.

Patients are free to leave the hospital 2 hours after the procedure.
